Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Primary:
- Sales: Sell repairs and service to customers based on their need’s goals and desires, using company guidelines and best practices.
Secondary:
- Customer Service: Assist customers by answering questions and inquiries over the phone, via email, and in person.
- Administrative: Create invoices for clients using the company process, help process part orders/returns, dispatch repairs/parts under the direction of the Part Manager and Operations Manager when they need an assistant with this task.
- Other tasks: Fill in on tasks as needed to maintain the flow of the shop. Examples could be: checking out customers, picking up a part, or any other task that can be safely completed which is needed.

Primary:
- Ordering Parts: Partnering with Vendors to secure high-quality parts for repairs at the best possible prices. This includes negotiation with vendors and shopping multiple vendors for the best price. This position will build good working relationships with parts vendor reps.
- Office Support: Perform a variety of customer service and administrative duties as needed by the shop. This may include such things as answering phones, running various errands, updating the workflow-board, checking-in/out customers, cleaning the office, assisting customers at the counter, performing callbacks to previous clients, helping with customer loaner cars and other tasks as directed by business need.
Secondary:
- Preparing Paperwork: Create quotes, invoices, and other documents for customers or vendors using Shop Management Software.
- Sales: When needed, assisting in selling repairs and services to customers under the guidance of a Service Adviser or Operations Manager.
In addition, the successful candidate will also have the following:
Qualifications:
- Customer Service or Administration Experience: Must have at least 1 year in any customer service or administration related position.
- Organizational Skills: Must be able to work and complete work tasks in a timely fashion in an environment that has constant distractions and interruptions.
- Computer Knowledge & Ability: Must possess a working knowledge of how to use a Windows computer. This includes the ability to type or dictate at least 30 words per minute, operate a cursor, view a computer monitor, operate an email account, and use common office software such as word processing and spreadsheet programs.
- Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate in English fluently, in both verbal and in written form.
- Math Skills: Must possess ability to count. Must know how to perform basic math functions using a calculator.
